Overview of pegging

Introduction

A pegging overview shows the standard Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and also the MRP advice generated from the MRP engine. The pegging overview extends the functionality of the MRP engine (Manufacturing ➔ Planning ➔ MRP Engine) because the MRP engine is solely dedicated to processing complex MRP calculations.

The pegging overview displays all the requirements and types of advice with valuable information such as the origin of the requirements and the action to be taken in order to fulfill the requirements. Results in the overview depend on the processes from the MRP engine. It can support single-level or full-level pegging which will give you an insight as to which end product each materials requirement came from.
